Megan Fox Clears Up Rumors About Her Cosmetic Surgery
In a conversation on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Megan Fox opened up to host Alex Cooper about the misunderstandings and judgments surrounding plastic surgery.
“I know I can’t change everyone’s mind,” Fox admitted, “but I hope this can liberate some.” The 37-year-old then clarified which cosmetic procedures she has and hasn’t undergone.
Fox stated, “I have never undergone any type of facelift. That means no midface lift, no lateral brow lift, though I’ve considered getting one.”
She elaborated, “I would never opt for fat removal. Being naturally slim, I lack sufficient body fat, including in my face, so my choice would be to add fat, not take it away.”
She also mentioned she has never pursued liposuction or body sculpting. However, Fox did share details about surgeries she has chosen, including breast augmentations: “I got breast implants when I was around 21 or 22, and then I had them redone after breastfeeding my children,” she disclosed, adding that she recently had another breast augmentation procedure.
She added, “Surgery isn’t something I’m fond of. I tend to have adverse reactions to general anesthesia (…) I approach surgery with great caution, which is why I’ve had few procedures.”
Fox then addressed the topic of nose jobs during the podcast. “There have been claims that I’ve had six, seven, or even eight nose surgeries,” she said. “But the truth is, I haven’t had a nose job since I was about 23. It’s been over ten years since I last altered my nose.”
Moreover, Fox revealed she recently had a different kind of procedure, choosing to keep its specifics private. “It turned out really well, and it’s not a commonly known type of plastic surgery. It’s so obscure that most people aren’t even aware of it,” she mentioned.
In the discussion, Fox highlighted the criticism she faces on social media for supposedly not being “open” enough with her audience. She pointed out that women who do share their cosmetic surgery experiences often endure severe backlash.
It’s crucial to discuss the potential risks involved with cosmetic surgery transparently. However, we must also recognize that criticizing or harassing women who decide to undergo these procedures is unacceptable. Bullying, especially over personal choices like plastic surgery, is harmful and unjustified.
