On May 20, the 44-year-old actor shared photos from a trip to Japan on Instagram, some of which feature actress Adria Arjona. In the photos, the Aquaman star is seen cuddling up to the 32-year-old actress in a restaurant snapshot.
Arjona also appears by Momoa’s side in a photo where their hair is blowing in the wind as they smile. She shared that photo on her Instagram Stories with red heart emojis.
“Japan, you are a dream come true. You blew my mind. We’re so thankful for everyone who opened their homes, making memories with new friends and old friends, sharing another amazing adventure with mi amor,” Momoa wrote in the post, tagging Arjona’s Instagram account.
“ON THE ROAM motorcycles and mayhem. All my aloha, J,” Momoa added.

Momoa previously clarified his relationship status during an appearance at a Comic Con festival in Basingstoke, England, on May 11. When a fan asked if he was single, he responded, “I’m very much in a relationship,” according to a video of the event shared on X. When asked if he would reveal who he was dating, Momoa added, “You’ll find out very soon.”
“I’m very much in a relationship. I’ve been in a relationship for a while. I’m just really enjoying privacy because back in the day, no one gave a f—, and now everyone does. But I’m still the same guy. It’s been really nice because everyone has kind of left me alone, but—yeah, thank you very much.”
Arjona, the daughter of Guatemalan-Mexican singer-songwriter Ricardo Arjona, is best known for her roles in movies like 2018’s “Pacific Rim: Uprising” and the 2022 Star Wars series “Andor.” She will next appear alongside Glen Powell in the Netflix film “Hit Man,” and as part of the cast of “Blink Twice,” directed by Zoë Kravitz.
Momoa was previously married to Lisa Bonet from 2017 until they announced their split in January 2022. The former couple shares two children: daughter Lola, 16, and son Nakoa-Wolf, 15. Though Bonet, 56, and Momoa announced their breakup over two years ago, they did not file for divorce until this past January.
Bonet cited irreconcilable differences in her divorce filing and listed her date of separation from Momoa as October 7, 2020. According to the terms of their divorce, they will not be legally declared single until July 9.
In the months following Momoa and Bonet’s split, he was romantically linked to Eiza González for a period, but a source told PEOPLE in June 2022 that they had parted ways.
